ADAC Member Councils MapBrisbane City Council (Core) Brisbane City Council currently does not mandate the use of ADAC. Its asset management system is under review. Gold Coast City Council (Associate) Gold Coast City Council are in the process of evaluating their entire asset management system. The ADAC standard is included as part of that evaluation. Gympie Regional Council (Core) Council actively encourages the use of ADAC for the submission of As-Constructed data, although the use of ADAC is not a formal requirement of the current planning scheme policies. It is envisaged that the use of ADAC will be a requirement of the Gympie Regional Council's planning scheme, which is under development. Council has developed processes to import ADAC V3 drawings into the GIS and Assets systems, which include quality checking routines. This allows for reduced processing and acceptance times for data using the ADAC format. Council is currently investigating and developing methods to process ADAC XML files.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council (Core) Lockyer Valley Regional Council has joined the consortium with the view that ADAC will become the standard form of submission of constructed plans for both previous Laidley and Gatton Shires. Timeframes for the mandated used of the system has not been confirmed, however Council is committed to implementing ADAC to improve as constructed plan checking and record keeping. Mackay Regional Council (Core) Mackay is reviewing its asset management system and associated processes, including the importation of digital As Constructed information. The implementation of appropriate standards is an integral part of this process. Moreton Bay Regional Council (Core) Moreton Bay Regional Council is a Core member of the ADAC consortium of Councils with representation in both the ADAC Strategic Reference Group (SRG) and Technical Reference Group (TRG). In a collaborative partnership with the other consortium councils and the IPWEAQ, Moreton Bay Regional Council has been an active member in the development, recognition and adoption of the ADAC process within the property development industry. Redland City Council (Core) Redland City Council also encourages the use of ADAC and has developed several in-house validation tools which assist expedite the DA and asset management processes. Council is an active participant in the consortium's Strategic Reference Group. Sunshine Coast Regional Council (Core) Sunshine Coast Regional Council was the main initiator of ADAC, and the standard is an integral part of its business systems. Lodgement of ADAC data is mandatory in the region. Toowoomba Regional Council (Core) Toowoomba has recently joined the consortium and is presently managing the integration of sytems from 8 pre-amalgamation councils. it is committed to implementing ADAC. Townsville City Council (Core) Townsville has re-joined the consortium with a view to rolling out ADAC implementation in 2010. Whitsunday Regional Council (Associate)
